The Path To Digital Production At NaBento Vliesstoff GmbH
NaBento Vliesstoff GmbH is part of Huesker Synthetic GmbH, which develops and produces intelligent geo-technology. At the NaBento plant in Ellefeld, geomembranes are manufactured that can safely and economically replace conventional, mineral linings. A potential analysis with easyOEE was carried out in production and successfully identified opportunities to increase output. Based on these successes, the project start with the integrated software solution FASTEC 4 PRO was initiated.

Initial Situation
The company works with the SAP ERP system in production. For a long time, production data was still being recorded
manually, so that shift reports and produced quantities were recorded by hand in paper-based shift logs. In addition, only estimates were made for set-up and cleaning times, resulting in a very inaccurate database. In addition, there was a high administrative burden and confusing mountains of paper in production, resulting in a lack of objectivity and transparency in the collection and reporting of production data.
Potential Analysis With easyOEE
The simple, rentable entry-level solution for a potential analysis with easyOEE was very attractive for the relatively small NaBento plant with a small number of employees, in order to evaluate the potential of digitization.
In day-to-day work, the advantages of easyOEE quickly became apparent: the digital solution has eliminated a lot of paperwork and manual work. The potential analysis uncovered the weak points of production in one plant, for example, and provided real-time transparency of the current production status.
