Report Data Individually and Across Locations
With pvaPRO, FASTEC has reached a milestone in development: production data that is already recorded with the MES FASTEC 4 PRO can now be reported centrally in the web-based cloud-native application. And this is how it works: the recorded operating and machine data is transferred cyclically from FASTEC 4 PRO to pvaPRO. Microsoft Azure ensures that the data is securely encrypted and uses the latest technologies.
pvaPRO offers the following benefits:
- By using the cloud, production data is available everywhere and can be used at any time.
- Apart from an internet connection, no additional IT infrastructure is required in the plant for this function.
- pvaPRO enables the central management of several plants. This leads to a cross-location and web-based report of the data and ensures greater transparency within the organization.
- The new reporting components access the data in the cloud, enabling reports to be compiled in customized dashboards. Among other things, several widgets, tables and charts are available.

Everything from a Single Source: Hardware Developed In-house for Immediate Use
The in-house developed FASTedge product family makes it possible to get started quickly with smartOEE. Whereas manufacturing companies previously had to provide the IT infrastructure at great expense, in future they will be able to obtain the entire hardware preconfigured from a single source. Our customers also benefit from the option to
- rent the hardware flexibly,
- receive a replacement device within 48 hours and
- upgrade to the latest version after 36 months.
The FASTedge Box establishes the connection between cloud and edge in the hybrid architecture. The internet connection is established via the customer’s own network or via mobile communications. The FASTedge SFT15 touch terminal is the operator’s interface to the system and includes an RFID reader and digital inputs for recording machine signals as standard.
