Whitepaper Series "Industry 4.0:" Step 6
Focus on Traceability: Complete Traceability

Consistently high product quality as a benchmark. How do you get complete documentation along the entire value chain? What happens when defects are discovered? How does traceability help with quality assurance?

Get to know the benefits of traceability for your production in its entirety in our whitepaper.

At a Glance

The quality demands of the customers on the product and of the manufacturer itself make quality assurance an essential requirement in production. In addition, legal requirements must be met: The German Equipment and Product Safety Act forces companies to introduce measures that exclude any risk posed from the product placed on the market. Complete process traceability, for example, is essential to protect the company and product image and, where required, to comply with legal or insurance requirements.

Collecting relevant data, creating transparency, providing control functions – the three core functions of traceability software are at the same time also the basis for fully automated and in some cases self-organizing production.

Find out more in our whitepaper about the use of traceability as the key to seamless and continuous traceability and the concrete benefits that such a measure has for your production. After all, the data networking of interrelated production steps and the resulting optimization of the entire value chain is also the goal of Industry 4.0.
