The new interface modules are characterized by a very high level of configurability. “A key objective during development was to make the interface so flexible that no ABAP programming is required in our customer projects,” says Leon Pott, Product Manager at FASTEC. “We also wanted to create deeper integration with FASTEC 4 PRO. Every SAP user can now see directly in SAP whether a production order has already been transferred to FASTEC 4 PRO or is still waiting to be picked up”.
The multi-plan capability of the interface is particularly interesting for groups with several production sites, as the interface settings can be set individually for each plant very easily and quickly. Of course, development is progressing,” says Christian Reusch. “We will be expanding our interface package in the near future so that data from other SAP modules can be easily integrated into FASTEC 4 PRO.”
