FASTEC as a Participant at the LBMTD Meetup: Digitalization in the Food Industry

Lebensmitteltechnik Deutschland, the largest network of the food industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, organized an exciting, attractive meetup in 2019. Every year, groundbreaking content is presented for the industry – on 21.11.2019, the event took place under the motto “Digitalization in the food industry”.

With the original aim of providing information about training and further education in the food industry and creating transparency at the same time, Lebensmitteltechnik Deutschland has developed into a company that is positioned as one of the leading providers of training in the industry. The portfolio of consulting, coaching and TÜV-certified courses is constantly being expanded and the community is informed about trends and news. In this way, Lebensmitteltechnik Deutschland contributes significantly to the networking of individuals and companies.

With the slogan “Digitalization in the food industry”, this year’s LBMTD Meetup addressed a current topic that is characterized by its potential in the food industry. Looking at the big picture, digitalization has long since arrived in the industry and is more present than ever before. Intelligent software can revolutionize production steps, machine efficiency and the associated personnel requirements planning, thereby significantly increasing the quality of the output. The increasing demands we place on the food we eat every day are in line with these developments and offer scope for more precise production and the full establishment of digitalization – including in the food industry.

21.11.2019, Butzbach – We were there!

FASTEC, a company that has set itself the goal of digitizing the factories of the food industry, did not miss the opportunity to be on site in Butzbach on 21 November 2019. As a provider of software for the detailed recording and reporting of production data, FASTEC delivers an MES solution for the entire industry. The FASTEC 4 PRO product improves production Planning by analyzing KPIs, creating transparency and providing comprehensive evaluations and reports. The software can be adapted flexibly to the customer’s production hall and production processes, regardless of the industry. This enables unparalleled adaptability to special production processes, especially in sensitive industries with high, sometimes legally prescribed quality and hygiene requirements, such as the food and healthcare industries. The FASTEC 4 PRO Quality Assurance (QA) module, which was launched at the beginning of 2019, brings digital, traceable and, above all, seamless order documentation into series production. Here, too, the FASTEC solution impresses with its free configurability and thus optimal adaptation to the requirements of various industries.

Lars Knitter, Area Sales Manager at FASTEC, attended the LBMTD Meetup to gain insights into the latest developments and requirements in the food industry on the one hand and to represent FASTEC as a partner of LBMTD on the other.
