As a globally active company with a focus on product safety and sustainability, Dr. Willmar Schwabe wanted to digitalize its production processes and thus make its working methods more transparent and efficient. The packaging process in particular was a black box for the responsible managers. Key figures from production were always determined by manual data acquisition. However, this approach is prone to errors and does not offer any comprehensive evaluation options.

The large screens in production and the displays from FASTEC 4 PRO sparked interest and increased acceptance of the system. Employees who have not been in packaging for a while and have seen the screens for the first time are always very impressed. At the beginning of the project, concerns were expressed by both the works council and individual employees. After a live demonstration of how FASTEC 4 PRO works in detail, these concerns were quickly resolved and it became clear: FASTEC 4 PRO monitors the machine(s) – not the people.
Clear structures and self-explanatory use were key elements for us to increase acceptance among employees.

Convincing Real-Time Data
The employees who work with the Office Client no longer want to do without the tool. They have a daily overview of the current status of production and can also see how the previous day or week went, for example.

The real-time overview of the current data situation is by far the greatest benefit for everyone, because before the introduction of FASTEC 4 PRO, data was only ever available with a long delay. The black box of the past no longer exists.
