The success story of FASTEC GmbH began 25 years ago, in the summer of 1995, when it was founded out of the Heinz Nixdorf Institute. “We initially focused on bus technology and then used this as a basis for control technology. Especially material flow systems. This relates to the field of logistics in Industry 4.0,” recalls founder Dr. Karl-Heinz Gerdes.
In 2004, FASTEC entered the business of Manufacturing Execution Systems, or MES for short. From that year onwards, we used our software in all industries and internationally to optimize production.
Today, 25 years after its foundation, FASTEC employs over 80 people and has already mastered over 400 projects. As a result, customers can benefit from years of experience in production optimization. “We digitalize factories”
