The Smile for Children e.V. team has been supporting the “QK Children’s Home” orphanage in Kenya financially and with expertise since 2018. The common goal is to create a sustainable home for the children and to cover the orphanage’s basic needs. With a team on site, the association also develops ongoing projects to support socially disadvantaged families. Thanks to the voluntary work of the association’s members, donations can be passed on directly to the orphanage, where they create the best possible impact for the children.
Thanks to the wonderful commitment of FASTEC GmbH, we were once again able to put a smile on the faces of the children in Kenya this year. Strong partners like FASTEC GmbH are the only way to provide long-term care for the roughly 60 children at the orphanage. We are very grateful for this!

Donations are used to pay for essential supplies such as water and medicine as well as sanitary products. Just 20 euros a month cover school fees, school materials and uniforms as well as the cost of a daily hot school meal. This offers children the chance for education and social participation as well as prospects for the future.
It’s great to see that an association directly from our region is doing so much good. We can be sure that our donation goes directly to where it is needed most – to the children in the orphanage.
