3 Questions for Felix Czaja, Senior Sales Manager at FASTEC

MES, digitale Fabrik, digitale Produktion, Industrie 4.0
In the "3 Questions for..." category, interviews with FASTEC employees are published at regular intervals, where they answer both professional and personal questions. This time, we are talking to Felix Czaja, Senior Sales Manager. He has been working at FASTEC since 2016.

How would you describe FASTEC to a friend? What do you think sets us apart?

Felix Czaja: “We are a software company, a spin-off from the University of Paderborn, and we’ve been in the market for 30 years. FASTEC develops software for optimizing production. What sets us apart is our approachable culture and flat hierarchies – no one uses formal titles here. It’s also nice that we have around 100 employees, which gives everything a more family-like atmosphere. At the same time, we have a very broad and well-known customer portfolio.”

Which of your strengths can you apply particularly well at FASTEC?

Felix Czaja: “I would definitely say that I’m a very communicative and harmonious person. This is also reflected in the sales processes. I enjoy interacting with people and like traveling – which naturally fits well in sales and field service. I like talking to people and finding solutions together with them. My English skills are also something I can put to good use in international sales.”

How do you relax after work?

Felix Czaja: “In communication with customers, the project department, and others, things can sometimes get a bit stressful. For me, sports are certainly a major way to relax. Traveling also helps, whether it’s city trips or longer vacations – though of course, that’s not possible every day or weekend. Spending time with my girlfriend is also important. I can have good conversations with her because she comes from a completely different professional background. My family and nice walks also help me to get some distance and unwind.”

Would you like to get to know us and our solutions even better? Then feel free to contact us. We’ll support you on your path to the digital factory!
