What role does FASTEC 4 PRO play in the manufacturing of infection prevention and hygiene solutions? Participants of the on-site event at Schülke in Norderstedt found out. The pharmaceutical company uses the production software for machine and production data acquisition. With the data collected, Schülke optimizes its production processes all the way to achieving Operational Excellence (OPEX).

With the insights from FASTEC 4 PRO, we can immediately identify weak points in production and derive actions that contribute to a sustainable increase in our equipment efficiency. By additionally integrating a BI tool, we achieve even deeper analyses and evaluations that create value across departments.

Mads Gadeberg, Head of Operational Excellence at schülke

A total of 16 people took part in the on-site event. Over a shared breakfast with fresh rolls, hot and cold drinks, Mads Gadeberg from Schülke gave them a hands-on introduction to the use of the production software. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences. Together, they also explored the software and Schülke’s evaluation dashboards.

After a joint lunch, the second part of the event was led by FASTEC partner and OPEX consultant Daniel Kierstein. He explained the basics and analysis of performance KPIs and demonstrated how to maximize KPI effectiveness using Business Intelligence (Power BI).

On-site events offer great value to both our customers and prospects: they get to see how our software is used in a different production context, derive measures for their own company, and exchange ideas with one another. In personal conversations, we also learn more about the current challenges manufacturing companies are facing and can align our solutions accordingly.
