With the constant growth in sales figures and the resulting expansion of production capacities, manual work is no longer up to date; a digital solution was the way forward. With growing orders, increasing production capacities and the resulting expansion of the machine park, as well as increasing regulatory requirements, the need for digital data acquisition became ever greater.<\/p><p><b>Improvements Achieved<\/b><br \/>The employees can see the end of the remaining time, the current production progress and error messages on the basis of the views with data from FASTEC 4 PRO. This means that the current production status can be called up at any time. This is very helpful when carrying out and documenting the shift handover and brings transparency to all areas. This made it possible to calculate investments in new equipment with tangible data. In addition, the transparent data acquisition enabled many optimization projects to be derived from the actual data.<\/p><p>During evaluations, it was noticed that orders with identical initial situations were subject to strong fluctuations in setup times. Thanks to FASTEC 4 PRO, this was identified as a problem area and, with the help of subsequent shop floor analyses and workshops, was converted into efficiency increases.<\/p><p><strong>Outlook:<\/strong><br \/>During the course of the project, the responsible employees at URSAPHARM noticed positively that the FASTEC software can grow with production.
