Mr. Jabs, Head of Process Improvement at tk Hohenlimburg GmbH, can draw on more than 20 years of experience in the automotive supply industry with a focus on industrial engineering, Kaizen\/KVP and production controlling, which enabled him to provide the participants with targeted and personal advice and lead the event with examples from his own practical experience.<\/p><p><strong>The OEEadvanced Method<\/strong><\/p><p>The main topic of the in-house seminar was the introduction to the OEEadvanced method developed by our speaker, in which the common OEE value is extended by a key value, the degree of innovation. The aim of the method is to show all production potentials and to define a binding basis for measuring effectiveness as well as to present complex production processes in a simple and transparent way and to create the possibility of showing the comparability of processes and procedures.<\/p><p><strong>Participant Feedback<\/strong><\/p><p>&#8220;I was particularly impressed by the practical approach to the seminar content,&#8221; summarized one participant. &#8220;I was also impressed by how quickly you can identify technical potential with the OEEadvanced method &#8211; by slightly expanding the standard OEE, the OEEadvanced value can be used even more effectively as a key performance indicator.&#8221;<\/p><p>Seminar speaker Gerhard Jabs adds: &#8220;For me, it is always enriching to learn how OEE is practiced in other companies. I find the positively surprised participants, some of whom have been working with the familiar OEE value for decades and who are suddenly given a different perspective on this familiar topic, particularly motivating for my work. I am particularly pleased that the seminar was specifically geared towards the forming technology sector. In this way, everyone &#8211; including me personally &#8211; can get the maximum benefit from this day.
