To date, NMC has developed into an internationally leading and growth-oriented group of companies in the field of synthetic foams. For 70 years, the company has put people and customers at the center of its activities, developing a wide range of applications and products that offer people comfort and protection for a better life. Spread across 22 locations in 16 countries, 1650 employees contribute to customers in 120 countries.<\/p>

By working with FASTEC, NMC aims to increase efficiency in production and implement a standard solution for the digitalization of production in the long term. After an initial attempt to introduce the software of a co-supplier, a proof of concept was realized with FASTEC. This involved a test installation using an example to prove that FASTEC can digitally map NMC’s production.<\/p>

The proof of concept was successfully completed and the partnership with FASTEC was assessed as positive and sensible. The OEE installation created a basis for an MES. The certified SAP interface, which enables the MES software from FASTEC to be easily bound to SAP, played a decisive role in the decision in favor of FASTEC.<\/p>

The expectations regarding smooth communication and active cooperation have been confirmed. As a customer partner, FASTEC was always available, flexible and able to act quickly. NMC noticed positively that there is no classic customer-supplier relationship, but that the project is approached jointly and cooperatively.<\/p>

Getting started with FASTEC 4 PRO was quick and easy. The software could be integrated without any problems in binding to SAP and the OPC servers and was intuitive to use for all users.<\/p>

FASTEC 4 PRO will initially be implemented in Belgium with the Machine Data Acquisition and Production Data Acquisition modules and will be rolled out to other plants and locations in the coming months and years. In the future, a further proof of concept is to take place with the quality assurance module.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
