The Manufacturing Execution System FASTEC 4 PRO is the optimal tool for production data acquisition as the basis for this innovative project. FASTEC&#8217;s proximity to the location and the personal factor of a medium-sized company, where partnership-based cooperation and communication at eye level are important pillars of the company&#8217;s character, were convincing factors in the selection of the provider. Schulte Kartonagen&#8217;s many years of experience in the field of production optimization, its flexibility and its interest in innovative projects prompted it to go down the path with FASTEC.<\/p><p>By using the modular MES system, production is to be digitalized and a data basis generated for follow-up projects. The following functions of the MES FASTEC 4 PRO are used for this purpose:<\/p><ul><li>Bidirectional interface to the Kartosoft ERP system for seamless integration of the software into the existing IT system landscape<\/li><li>Binding of machines for recording services and availabilities<\/li><li>Mapping of digital Production Data Acquisition<\/li><li>Precise recording of employee times and performance<\/li><li>Digitized documents for worker management and paperless production<\/li><li>Automatic quality assurance and digital processing of test results<\/li><li>Predictive maintenance based on production data to optimize planned maintenance and carry out repairs efficiently<\/li><li>Live monitoring of current events on large screens<\/li><li>Alerts in the event of unforeseeable events<\/li><li>Smartphone app for system use while on the move<\/li><li>Analysis of recorded data to optimize production processes and reduce losses<\/li><li>Open interfaces for transferring data to BI systems<\/li><\/ul><p>We at FASTEC GmbH would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at Schulte Kartonagen for their constructive cooperation.
