FASTEC 4 PRO at URSAPHARM \u2013 a Software Solution that Grows with You<\/h3>

The primary objective when introducing an MDA\/PDA solution was to generate live data from production, which should be available for reporting on various devices at any time.<\/p>

Manual work is no longer up to date with the constant growth in sales figures and the resulting increase in production capacity; a digital solution was the way forward. With growing orders, increasing production capacities and the resulting increase in machinery and regulatory requirements, the need for digital data acquisition became ever greater.<\/p>

The system needed to be easily and quickly integrated into URSAPHARM’s existing systems and offer user-friendly, intuitive operation. FASTEC convinced URSAPHARM right from the start with its understanding of the process. In the first step, an attempt was made to map the big picture without getting hung up on small special cases. This saved time as the project progressed. The modular structure of the FASTEC 4 PRO software was also convincing. URSAPHARM was able to select the necessary software modules and expand digitalization in production step by step. This is also confirmed by Sabine Rott, Head of Project and Personnel Management Technology & Production:<\/p>

FASTEC 4 PRO is very intuitive and we were able to set up everything the way we needed it after just a short time. The reports and alerts can be configured individually.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>

At URSAPHARM’s production site in Saarbr\u00fccken, 40 systems are currently bound via IO modules from FASTEC. To ensure an easy start, the most important components such as signaling and the SAP interface were tested by FASTEC after connecting the IO modules and a simulation of process orders was then carried out. As the project progressed, the initial positive impression of the FASTEC team was confirmed: “As a customer partner, FASTEC is always available. Sabine Rott describes the communication as follows:<\/p>

The desired results based on the initial situation were available at all times. URSAPHARM’s experience has been consistently positive, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, which is characterized by stringent requirements.<\/p>
