Gain work experience while still at school: As an innovative and expanding company, FASTEC relies on qualified junior staff who have been trained in-house. That is why we offer interested pupils internships and graduates attractive apprenticeships for professions with future prospects.

Regional participation in educational projects is important to us. FASTEC, founded from the Heinz Nixdorf Institute, has maintained good relations with various educational institutions such as the University of Paderborn, the RWTH and the FHDW for decades. FASTEC also supports youth research projects such as coolMINT.forscht or the Paderborn finalists of the World Robot Olympiad. Of course, we are also involved in Girls’ Day.

As an innovative IT company, we want to inspire and qualify young people for IT. Therefore, it is possible to do school internships, start an apprenticeship or begin a dual study program at FASTEC. We would be happy to show you the typical departments of an IT company, such as software development, product management, project management, sales and marketing.

FASTEC Has the Following Apprenticeship Positions to Offer in 2022

We invest in you and your expertise. FASTEC pursues a practical, cross-departmental and thus clearly above-average training concept.

Your tasks: 

  • You learn C# and how to use it in the .NET Core environment and in the ASP.NET Core environment
  • You will learn how to test, document and configure software
  • You will learn how to use MS-Visual Studio and MS-SQL
  • You will work in a team on the further development of our software products
  • You develop and implement new features and modules for our software products


Your profile:

  • You have a high school diploma or a technical college entrance qualification or a good secondary school diploma with good grades in mathematics and computer science
  • You are enthusiastic about working with computers and are interested in computer science
  • You like to work in a team and communicate well
  • Logical and analytical thinking is not difficult for you

  • You will learn how to test, document and configure software
  • You will learn how to plan and implement network environments
  • You learn how to avoid and correct system errors
  • You actively participate in the further development of our software products
  • You learn how to create system specifications
  • You learn to determine, check, coordinate and manage requirements

Your profile:

  • You have a high school diploma, a technical college entrance qualification or a good secondary school diploma with good grades in mathematics and computer science
  • You are enthusiastic about IT and digitalization topics and are interested in software development
  • You are able to work in a team and communicate well
  • Logical thinking and independent work are not difficult for you
