TPM/maintenance with the MES system FASTEC 4 PRO.

Effective maintenance – for longer machine run times

The better that the means of production are maintained, the less likely they are to suffer from malfunctions during the production process and the more available the production systems will be for use.

Minimise losses with TPM

TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) allows losses and waste to be uncovered and rectified across all parts of the company. Maintenance plays a major role here.

MES system FASTEC 4 PRO, TPM / Maintenance: with the Office Client you can have a full overview of the autonomous maintenance.
Overview of autonomous maintenance

The maintenance module of our MES system FASTEC 4 PRO gives you perfect support in the search for and rectification of weaknesses within your production system. It regulates autonomous maintenance, whereby the production employee independently carries out minor servicing works after being "tipped off" by the system.

In addition, the servicing staff are given optimal support during the planned maintenance work. Here, you can create concrete servicing, inspection or repair orders based on temporal or condition-related servicing intervals. At the same time, the execution of formulations is supported and logged.

Maximising system availability with CIP

The CIP (continued improvement process) can be accelerated with the maintenance module too. For example, the production employee has the opportunity to suggest possible improvements or to report defects in machines, systems, etc. These suggestions are managed clearly in the suggestion scheme. Later, the employee with responsibility for maintenance can generate a maintenance order from a suggestion in order to order the inspection of a machine for example.

To make the maintenance technician's work a little easier, documents relating to the planned servicing schedules, maintenance orders, etc. can be managed. This is worthwhile where, for instance, a complex series of steps must be adhered to or specific safety precautions followed for the machine. You can manage all documents clearly in the document management system.

In addition, improvement strategies can be generated from the suggestions reported directly from the production area. These are organised in the strategy management system and their scheduled implementation monitored. They can then be drawn upon by way of comprehensive evaluations for the CIP. In the strategy management system, the employee with responsibility for maintenance can see at a glance

  • which measures are still outstanding,
  • when these measures should be executed,
  • which measures have already been executed,
  • who carried out these measures, etc.

With maximum system availability and ongoing improvements in the production process, you can ensure your company's success.
