Optimal use of machines, means of production and staff
- The individually adaptable fine-planning tool gives the planner optimal support in their work.
Planning in the ERP system presupposes an unlimited supply of resources in the production process. Advantageous here is a fine-planning tool with control station, which receives online data directly in real time from the production operations. Based on this current database, you can plan the individual processes of the production orders to match the resources actually available. A full overview of production at all times
The graphic planning table shows you all the production data in real time. You therefore have a full overview at all times on current production activities: how far advanced an order is, what quantities have been produced up to now, the status of each machine, etc.
If, for example, malfunctions occur during production, which may lead to clashes with other orders, the system will inform you straight away on this. You can then quickly and flexibly take appropriate countermeasures, by moving, altering, interrupting or terminating individual processes.
Effective planning for optimal utilisation of resources
Using the fine-planning tool, you can plan the individual processes within
single-stage and multi-stage manufacturing processes at the levels of machines, means of production, tools, etc. At the same time, the capacities actually available will be taken into account just as much as the restrictions set by you and the staff available.
For the planning of individual orders, the fine-planning tool includes a
- manual planning table, with which you can easily plan processes to match available resources by dragging & dropping and with which
- automatic optimisation-oriented planning that takes account ofissues like deadlines
and costs can be incorporated intoyour plans.
In addition, you can simulate different planning scenarios, which you can then compare with each other in terms of production costs, downtimes, staff costs or throughput times. Based on a cost assessment of all the influencing factors, you can then come up with the best, least expensive plan for your production operations.

All that being said, the best of planning means nothing without appropriately qualified staff working on the production line. The calendar of the staff deployment tool allows you to record the presence and reasons for absence of your employees as well as assign different shift models and production areas.
