With full control over the entire flow of materials and goods in your production system, you will always have the right quantity of the right material at the right time and place in the desired quality.
With the warehouse management system in our MES system FASTEC 4 PRO for example, you can register the exact quantities in the system at the goods inward stage.
The unbroken documentation of the production process begins with the detailed logging of batches and suppliers for the materials, raw material or goods delivered. This allows blank material batches to be blocked or released in a targeted manner and reposted in the production warehouse for instance. The loading devices management tool allows the logistician to quickly and easily repost pallets for example. In the process, stocks can be transferred to an existing warehouse management system via an interface.
- Order picking control with the Pick-2-Light system
At the production stage, e.g. at the assembly workstations, the system supports order picking control by way of Pick-2-Light.
This procedure offers you the following advantages:
- Minimised search times
- Fewer picking errors
- Direct response on the change in inventory to the system
- High flexibility, for changing order situations for instance
You can achieve improved warehouse capacities and optimised stocks in the order picking warehouse by way of the automatic requesting of supplies. If, for example, the minimum stock specified by you is undercut in the order picking warehouse, the system will automatically request the goods required from the supplies or reserve warehouse.
When packing the items produced, the system will support, for instance, packing in containers and the printing of consignment labels. And, finally, at the goods outwards stage, quantities, batches and the customers being delivered to will also be logged in detail and saved permanently, thereby giving you a complete overview of the entire flow of goods and materials at all times.
