Simple management and constant control of production
With the MES system FASTEC 4 PRO, managing single-stage and multi-stage production orders becomes child's play. For example, you will be able to quickly adapt target quantities specified to match an altered order situation.
Production orders can be taken on with all the master data direct from the ERP system or created manually in the system. This means that overlapping production is supported the same way as parallel processing by way of process splitting.
After the production orders are included in the control station, they can be displayed as a current order queue for an individual manufacturing area or machine.
If the production employee has registered a manufacturing order at the machine or at a central PC, the data recorded during production will be compared in real time with the order data specified. At the same time, figures for good quantities and spoilt quantities can be reported back either manually or automatically.
This will allow you to
- be able to make judgements all the time on the current production situation,
- react quickly to deviations,
- optimise processes,
- reduce production times, minimise throughput times and
- ensure correct calculations through accurately recorded consumption.
Accurate staff work time logging
With the machine staff work time logging module, your production employees can sign in at a machine or machine group, either manually via touch panel PCs or via transponder / bar code reading devices.
As an important instrument for product costing analysis, it will be logged how long one or more employees has/have worked at a machine / machine group or at one production order. At the same time, unproductive periods will be recorded the same way as ancillary information on the production order will be.
Paperless support for your production staff
Time is money, especially in production. With a production order system, you can support your production staff in the best way possible, without the use of paper.
Here, you can manage all the information important for the production process. If an employees is working on a complex, difficult set-up or assembly step, they can quickly and easily access the required information directly from their workstation.
Formulation management / DNC for fault-free, fast set-up
In the formulation management system, you can save and manage machine parameters and set-up data sets for individual products. These will be stored on a server so that you can see at all times which product was produced with which data set version.
The data or programmes necessary for production can be automatically loaded into the machine control after the production order is logged or can be loaded manually by the machine operator.
This saves time and money as well as minimising set-up errors.
